Disney’s Annual D23 Conference did NOT disappoint…Disney’s D23 ultimate fan event last weekend came with some real fire power this year! There were a ton of announcements on Disney park expansions, new attractions, new movies and more! I will cover the main topics specific to Disney World below, but also check out our blog for more details!

Magic Kingdom: Villains and Cars Land
Magic Kingdom will introduce a Villains-themed land and two new "Cars" attractions. The Villains land will offer immersive experiences with Disney's iconic antagonists, while the "Cars" attractions will cater to both thrill-seekers and younger guests. Cars Land will be replacing Tom Sawyer Island and Liberty Square Riverboat 😯 

Disney's Hollywood Studios: Monsters, Inc. Scream Factory
Hollywood Studios will add a Monsters, Inc. land featuring Disney’s first-ever suspended coaster. The land will also include interactive experiences, a themed restaurant, and a gift shop.

Animal Kingdom: Tropical Americas
Animal Kingdom will open Tropical Americas (replacing Dino Land), featuring an Indiana Jones dark ride and an interactive Encanto-themed area. The new land will also celebrate Latin American culture through live performances.

New Lounges: Relaxation and Themed Experiences
Two new lounges will open in 2025: an EPCOT lounge inspired by Spaceship Earth and a Magic Kingdom lounge themed around Pirates of the Caribbean. Both will offer themed atmospheres and unique refreshments.

New Nighttime Parade: Disney Starlight
Magic Kingdom will debut "Disney Starlight," a new nighttime parade, in 2025. This parade will feature advanced technology, beloved Disney characters, and dazzling performances, marking the return of year-round nighttime parades.
