LATEST NEWS

The super premium FastPass Lightning Lanes… Big news here this week that Disney will be unveiling a “Lightning Lane Premier Pass”. Starting October 30th, Disney Resort guests can purchase a pass that offers Lighting Lane access to attractions in a single park for one day, without the need to select arrival windows for each ride. Pricing varies by park and date, but can go all the way up to $449 at Magic Kingdom 👀 More details here

More closures announced….we know this is to make way for all the new wonderful changes coming, but still tough to hear the official announcement that Big Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom will be closed for a at least one full year 👀 . January 6th, 2025 is the official close date and the attraction will “reopen with a little bit of new magic in 2026”.

Meanwhile Dinoland USA closures will begin on January 13th, 2025 to make way for the future Tropical Americas themed land at Animal Kingdom. This area will experience partial closures to begin, so not all attractions will be closed immediately. Details here

and some delays… If you were hoping to see the new Little Mermaid show in Hollywood Studios this fall, it looks like you will have to wait a little longer 🥹 The reimagining of the stage show “Voyage of the Little Mermaid”, which closed in 2020 and never reopened, has been delayed to Summer of 2025.

Non Disney but some major news in the area….the new Epic Universe theme park at Universal Orlando officially announced their opening day May 22, 2025! Tickets on sale October 22nd 🙌
